62 Main Street: Housing For Seniors
Applications for the affordable rental units in the new construction at 62 Main Street where the YMCA used to be are open until October 24, 2023. The lottery for the units will take place on November 7, 2023.
100 apartments are available and at least 80% of the units must have one household member who is over the age of 55.
The majority of the units are 1 bedroom units with a maximum household size of 2 people. There are 14 studios for single occupancy.
The lottery scheduled for November 7, 2023 determines in which order the applications will be reviewed for tenancy. Income restrictions apply of between 30% and 70% of Westchester Area Median Income, which is between $30,840 and $82,250 depending on how many people you have in your household.
