Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow Memorial Day Ceremony in Patriot's Park

Here is the schedule for the Monday Memorial Day Ceremony in Patriot's Park, for Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow. 

Monday, May 25, 2026 - 10 a.m. start of procession

• 9:15 a.m. line-up of veterans, public officials and other participating groups
• 10 a.m. start of procession, to march from the basketball court, within Patriot’s Park, around to the Veteran’s Memorials.
• 10:15 a.m. ceremony at the main Veteran's Memorial, facing Broadway, at the corner of College Avenue

Details:

• There will be no parking from College Ave. to the Library. Parking will be for official vehicles only 
• Jimmy’s Soft Serve will be there, available after the ceremony
• Face painters will be there 
• Hope Hose Fire Company & Fire Patrol will have a table to share information about their 150^th anniversary
• The SHHS Marching Band will participate
• The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts have been invited to participate
• If there is a cancellation for bad weather, the decision will be made by the Veteran's groups early Monday morning.
• Note - The forecast for the day generally is good, although it’s possible for passing showers Monday morning
