Annual Water Quality Report from 2021 released

The Annual Water Quality Report for the Public Water System of the Village of Tarrytown is now available on the Village website: 2021 Water Quality Report. Last year, Tarrytown tap water met all state drinking water health standards with the exception of maximum contaminant level for haloacetic acids, a by-product of chlorination. There were no other violations.

New York City's Department of Environmental Protection lowered its level of chlorination in the water supply which helped bring our system into line once again with federal and state standards. The most recent 2nd Quarter water quality sampling demonstrated that the concentration of haloacetic acids had lowered to meet water quality standards.
