Cannabis in Tarrytown – Public Hearing and possible vote to “opt out” of Places of Consumption on the agenda for consideration on Monday, December 20, 2021

As a reminder, the current and prior Mayor and Board of Trustees members held three meetings to discuss this issue – a public forum with a presentation on September 28, 2021, a meeting to allow continued discussion and feedback from the public on November 15, 2021, and continued discussion on Monday, December 6, 2021. This Monday there will be a public hearing on December 20, 2021, at 7 p.m. on a proposed local law to “Opt Out” on Places of Consumption (aka Lounges).  If anyone has any comments they would like to share with the Board up until when the hearing is closed on December 20th, please feel free to send them in to the Village Administrator’s Office by e-mail at Administrator@tarrytowngov.com.  All comments will be kept on file and shared with the elected officials to assist them with their decision.

Do not to shovel snow into the street, but put it on lawns or at the curb. If the snow is forecast to be heavy, snow emergency declaration notices will be sent out via Reverse 911 and will be posted on the Village website.
