Paving This Week: Streets North of Main Street

Weather permitting, from Tuesday, April 11 through Friday, April 14, 7am to 6pm, Con Edison will be paving the following roads for restoration following their gas construction work:

  • Ann St. – patch only
  • Cottage Place – 4/11,12, completely closed during paving
  • Dixon Lane – patch only
  • Linden Place – 4/11,12, completely closed during paving
  • Kaldenberg Place - 4/11,12, completely closed during paving
  • Mechanics Avenue - 4/11,12, completely closed during paving
  • North Washington, Central to Main Street – 4/11,12, one lane of traffic opened during paving
  • Storm Street - 4/11,12, completely closed during paving
  • Central Avenue, 4/13, 14 the entire length will be paved on Friday, April 14

Parking - From April 10 through 14, residents can relocate and park in the McKeel Lot and in the South Washington Lot while their individual street is being paved.

Alternate side parking in the South Washington Street Lot will be suspended during the week of April 10 through 14.

  • Motorists should expect rough road conditions and intermittent traffic disruptions in preparation for the road’s new pavement.
  • Roads will be closed during the re-surfacing phase of the project.
  • One lane of traffic will be maintained on Central Avenue, but motorists should expect sporadic road closures. (Access in/out of driveways/side streets may experience slight delays)
  • Detours to be controlled by contractor flag persons and/or by the Tarrytown Police Department.
  • Kindly avoid travel in the vicinity of the construction zone.
