Con Edison update for the week of February 27, 2023

• Main Street - work on Main Street is delayed due to the construction crews hitting underground rock deposits.  Work will continue on Main Street this week. 
• Main Street gas-service switchover from the old gas main to the new gas main will continue, with some evening work on a location-by-location basis.  Con Edison's contractor will be working directly with each business or building owner to schedule this work.
• Baylis Court - work on Baylis Ct. is scheduled to start on Monday, March 6, 2023.  The Village will notify residents of Baylis about their alternate parking options during the construction. If the start date changes/is delayed from March 6, 2023, the Village and/or the contractor will let residents there know before Friday, 3/3/2023.
•  Windle Park will be the next street to be worked on after Baylis Court.  No start date determined yet. 
• East Sunnyside - Con Edison gas main work on the border with Irvington continues to move slowly on East Sunnyside Lane due to heavy deposits of underground rock. Work is presently between Quarry and Mallard..  Quarry residents can access their street from East Sunnyside Lane on the Broadway/Route 9 side.  Mallard residents can access their street from the Taxter Road side.
