Con Edison construction update from the Village of Tarrytown

Here is an update for our residents and business people from the Village of Tarrytown, for the time frame of Friday, December 23, 2022, through Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

• Pause in work - After Friday, December 23, 2022, there will be a pause in Con Edison’s gas main work from Saturday, December 24 through Monday, January 2, 2023.
• Cottage Place – work will resume on or after January 3, 2023 (no exact date yet)
• Franklin Street – Work on Franklin Street will be paused until after Main Street is completed.
• John Street – work will resume on or after January 3, 2023 (no exact date yet)
• Main Street – We worked with Con Edison to postpone this work past the Halloween parade, and past the December holiday shopping season.  Starting on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, during daytime hours, work will begin on Main Street, starting at Broadway and moving westward down the street.  There will be intermittent street closures and traffic stops. No Parking signs will be posted on Monday, January 2, 2023, in anticipation of the January 3^rd start of work.  Work limits will be on Main Street from Broadway to Windle Park.
• Neperan Rd – The next plan for work on Neperan Rd., from Hamilton to Broadway, is being planned.  The start date for this work is not yet scheduled.
• East Sunnyside –
  • Work will take place on Friday, December 23, 2022. 
  • Work will pause from December 24 through January 8, 2023. 
  • Work will resume along with associated detours on January 9, 2023.
