Alarm Permits

The Village of Tarrytown requires that all Resident and Business owners, who have a home or business alarm system, obtain an Alarm Permit through the Village of Tarrytown per Chapter 76 of the Village Code. This permit ensures that any device which transmits a signal to our police or fire departments is registered with the Village. This process also helps cut down on the number of false alarms which cost the Village many lost hours in response time on the part of our police officers and volunteer fire department members.
