Staff Services Division

The Staff Services Division provides essential support functions to both the Patrol Division and Detective Division.   The Staff Services Division oversees and administers all aspects of;

• Arrests and investigations in order to fulfill components associated to NYS CPL 245.00 (Discovery)
• Updating, maintenance and creation of General Orders, Temporary Orders, Standard Operating Procedures and Rules and Regulations.
• Completion, management and oversight of accreditation for the department.
• General administration and upkeep of the police building and facilities.
• Maintenance and oversight of the communications system.
• Internal Affairs issues as directed by the Chief of Police.

The Staff Services Division is comprised of one Lieutenant and one civilian police assistant.  The Staff Services Division operates under the command of Lieutenant Joseph Barosa.
