Quick Update - Skating is Open today, Alternate side parking rules suspended on Monday

Skating is Open today - Monday and the rest of the week to be reviewed after the rain and snow stops

Good morning!  After checking the ice thickness this morning, skating is on today from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.!  Be safe and dress warmly, with a hat, coat and gloves.  Sunglasses are also recommended to prevent snow-blindness due to the sunshine today.

Given the forecast tonight for as much as an inch to an inch and a half of rain, followed by snow, Monday and the rest of the week will be reviewed by the Parks Department after the rain and snow stops and we can assess conditions of the ice. 

Alternate Side Parking Rules suspended for Monday, January 17, 2022 - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

In recognition of the national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., alternate side of the street parking rules are suspended.  Also DPW and Sanitation's schedule switches to the holiday schedule.
